Why a whole-house vs. portable?

Whole-house humidification – When humidifying the entire home, not just a room, is the objective; a whole house humidifier is the best option.

Continuous water supply – A whole-house humidifier is supplied by water automatically from the central water supply, all winter long. Where as a portable humidifier must be manually refilled each time the tank runs out of water.

Hidden humidity system – A whole-house humidifier is installed on ducting at the furnace or air handler. (Out of site, working automatically.) A portable humidifier must be located somewhere in the living space.

Where is it installed?

New humidifiers are installed at your furnace and get connected to your ductwork. The ductwork connection allows the humidifier’s moisture to travel throughout the entire home.

How does it work?

The 600M humidifier is an evaporative humidifier. The airflow from your furnace blows across a saturated water panel causing moisture to enter your ducted air stream.

How is it controlled?

Your humidifier is controlled by a humidistat near the furnace. The humidistat allows you to set your desired humidity levels and controls the flow of water and when the humidifier operates.
